When I was a kid in my community we had a lot of theft issues, some of these thieves broken to our house and stole a bunch of valuables they also stole out of our shop many expensive tools. My dad did not know what to do about the matter at the time because even the house with electronic security had been broken into and the thieves were gone before the police arrived. I thought about the matter for a while and then I suggested to my dad that we get a dog, our place was fenced in and we could train them to guard it, and so we did. After that we never had any problems involving theft or anything of that nature. We could leave and rest assured that our belongings were safe. Any thief out there will tell you that if they had the choice of breaking into a house without a guard dog, or with a guard dog they would choose the house without the guard dog. Because, they don't want to get bit, and a guard dog will make a lot of commotion which a lot of times will alert the neighbors that someone is there that doesn't belong. So simple, if the thief can break in undetected and escape before anybody notices anything out of the ordinary that's what they will prefer to do. This was my experience in owning good guard dogs preferably ether a Doberman or Chow Chow.

Security and loyalty.
